What is Leadership?

What is leadership in your chiropractic office? It is the ability to influence your staff toward the achievement of the clinic goals. It is getting the staff to set aside their individual concerns to pursue a common goal that is good for the office and your patients.  As a leader, you are looked on to influence or change the behaviors, thoughts or feelings of others around you.

Do You Talk Too Much?

Sometimes our patients will ask a question, and doctors then feel the need to go into a whole dissertation about chiropractic going all the way back to D.D. Palmer in 1895. For example, a patient might ask. “Doc, can you help with acid reflux disease?” Do not over complicate your response!

Chiropractic Graduate Hits Black Ink First Month Open

Like most who have started from scratch, I couldn’t reproduce what I had done in chiropractic school or observed at other offices. I had lots of ideas, but really no clue where to start, and make it work right out of the gate. Fortunately, a good friend referred us to AMC! In AMC we found a proven A-to-Z system to open our doors, manage the office, staff, and patients in the most thorough and efficient way. The practice took off from our very first month under AMC’s guidance, we hit the black ink, and within a year, eclipsed the of success that most doctors in our town practicing over 20 years could not even dream of.

Overcoming Fear Leads to Success

One of the main hurdles chiropractors face when trying to choose a chiropractic business management or practice consultant is the hurdle of fear. Fear literally paralyzes even the best-intentioned chiropractor from moving their chiropractic practice from failure to success. Furthermore, most fear is rooted in the unknown juxtaposed with horror stories told by other colleagues.
